$10 TICKETS. If you are buying a ticket at the gate for today, the cost is only $10 per person. Proceeds from all ticket sales benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. In 2011, funds raised at the Austin Reggae Festival provided meals for more than 600,000 meals for hungry families in Central Texas.

ADVANCE SINGLE-DAY TICKETS. If you bought a Sunday ticket in advance, this ticket will allow two-for-one admission. So, bring a friend to Auditorium Shores and the two of you can get in on one ticket.

THREE-DAY-PASSES. The two-for-one deal does NOT apply to the 3-Day-Passes. So, if you have a 3-Day-Pass and you want to bring a friend to the Austin Reggae Festival, this friend will need to buy a $10 ticket at the door.

WEATHER TODAY. Temperatures today will be a little warmer than yesterday, with highs near 90. Be sure to bring sunscreen!

2013 DATES. Dates for the 2013 Austin Reggae Festival are Friday, April 19 through Sunday, April 21. Tickets for next year’s event will go on sale on February 1, 2013.

We hope you will join as the park to celebrate spring, enjoy music, meet new friends and raise money for a great cause. If so, then please read these updates.

PARKING. Please be sure to check out all the available parking options before you head downtown for the event. Or, save yourself the hassle of parking by using Capital Metro to get to Auditorium Shores.

SATURDAY TICKETS. Are available at the gate for $20 per person. Or order online. Remember that kids 12 and under are admitted free to the Austin Reggae Festival.

THREE-DAY-PASS HOLDERS. If you have not yet redeemed your three-day-pass purchased online, then you will need to come to the Box Office to exchange your print-out for a wristband. The Box Office is located next to the main entrance at the south entrance of Auditorium Shores. If you already have a wristband, then you can enter the park via the entrance to the west of the Box Office.

BANDS FOR SATURDAY. Music today begins at noon and runs through 10:00 pm. Headliners include Dubtronic Kru and Tidal Waves. Click here for the full band lineup for Saturday.

THE CAPITAL AREA FOOD BANK. The Austin Reggae Festival benefits the Capital Area Food Bank. In 2001, this event helped raise more than $200,000 for this worthy charity. Let’s see if we can significantly top that total in 2012!

LOST AND FOUND. If you lose valuables at the event, then please check for them at the Lost and Found counter. This counter is located at Volunteer Check-In, just west of the main entrance gate. Or contact us after the event to see if we have located your items.

SUNDAY TICKETS ARE ONLY $10 EACH. Celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 22 at the Austin Reggae Festival. Single day tickets for Sunday, April 22 are only $10 per person at the door.

WEATHER: We may have a few showers on Friday, but the rest of the weekend looks great. The Austin Reggae Festival will continue, rain or shine.

PARKING. Auditorium Shores parking is difficult — and, please remember that you can NOT park at the Long Center. Check out your options here.

IF YOU ALREADY BOUGHT A SINGLE DAY TICKET: Then come to the main gate on the South end of Auditorium Shores.

IF YOU ALREADY BOUGHT A THREE-DAY-PASS: Then come to the Box Office next to the main gate on the South end of Auditorium Shores. We will scan your EventBrite print-out there and give you a wristband.

IF YOU HAVEN’T BOUGHT A TICKET YET. Then you can buy a ticket at the gate for $20 for Friday, April 20 and $20 for Saturday, April 21). Tickets for Sunday, April 22 are only $10 each. Or, buy online here.

Friday, April 20 will be mostly cloudy with cooler temperatures in the mid 70s.  There is a chance of rain with the passage of a cold front, but rain should be isolated and short lived.

There is still a slight chance for rain Friday evening, but the main issue will be high winds gusting around 20 mph.

Saturday, April 21 will be a much nicer day with clouds clearing out in the afternoon and temperatures in the mid 70′s. It will also be windy, but Saturday should be quite an enjoyable day.

Sunday, April 22 will be the best day of the weekend with sunny skies and temperatures hovering around 80 degrees with light winds.

This revised lineup includes the complete lineup for Charlie’s Dub Corner, where 31 diverse performers will be showcasing a massive variety of reggae-infused sounds including roots, dub, dancehall, ska, dubstep, soca, rocksteady, soul, ambient dub and much more. All music lovers are strongly advised to drop by this sound system party to sample these delicious musical fruits. 2012 will be the 5th year that Charlie’s Dub Corner is part of the Austin Reggae Festival. Charlie’s Dub Corner is organized and run by Charlie’s Records and McPullish.

For 2012, Austin Reggae Festival music begins at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 20; Music starts at noon on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday April 22. Gates open at 11:00 am each day of the event and the park closes at 10:00 pm. There is no overnight camping at Auditorium Shores.

Advance tickets for the Austin Reggae Festival are $15 per day or $35 for a three-day pass. Click here to purchase these advance tickets online. Advance tickets are also available at all Planet K locations in Austin, San Antonio and San Marcos.

Advance online ticket sales online end at 11:59 pm CDT on Thursday, April 19. Advance ticket sales at Planet K end at closing time on Thursday, April 19, or when supplies sell out (whichever comes first).

Price of Austin Reggae Festival tickets will increase to $20 per day walk-up.

Each single day ticket for Sunday, April 22 allows for two-for-one admission (so, buy a Sunday ticket in advance for $15, then both you and your friend can attend the event). Such a bargain! Both patrons must enter Auditorium Shores at the same time for the two-for-one admission deal to be valid. Walkup ticket for Sunday is $20 per day — and walkup ticket also allows for two-for-one deal. This two-for-one deal is ONLY good for single-day tickets for Sunday, April 22.

Or, if you are attending by yourself, you can buy a single Sunday ticket at the gate for just $10.
