The Austin Reggae Festival believes that helping those in need in our community is a central theme of the music we celebrate each April at Auditorium Shores. We also believe strongly in the Central Texas Food Bank’s mission to end hunger in Central Texas. That’s why the Austin Reggae Festival benefits the Central Texas Food Bank (previously known as the Capital Area Food Bank).
During the last 10 years, the Austin Reggae Festival is proud to have emerged as the largest annual fundraising event for the Food Bank and its extensive network of Partner Agencies.
With the percentage of Central Texans who are hungry, or at risk of hunger, growing at nearly double the growth rate of the overall population, support from events such as the Austin Reggae Festival is vital to the Central Texas Food Bank’s mission.
