Getting to the fest
Commuting in downtown Austin has gotten crazy!
Hereโs our tips on the easiest way to get to the fest.
CapMetro Bus
Heck, the bus is already going there, why not catch a ride! CapMetro is a proud sponsor of the Austin Reggae Festival, and provides sustainable transportation all around Austin.
You can easily find the best route to Auditorium Shores on their iOS app, Android app, or website.
Bike
The best way for the planet, and the easiest for parking, is by riding a bike, scooter, skateboard, or unicycle.
You canโt bring these into the park, so we set up designated bike racks at the southeast end of the park.
See our festival map for bike parking locations along Riverside.
Paid parking
Here are the best paid parking garages, that is a very short walk to Auditorium Shores.
The Long Center (ADA)
River South (formerly Hooters)
Ride share
You can take a ride share to the drop off area on Riverside Dr. Do NOT stop in the street. Go all the way to the drop off area (see picture below).
๐จ No free shuttle bus ๐จ
Unfortunately, the free shuttle bus that the Austin Reggae Festival has offered in past years is not available in 2025, because there are no more free parking lots within a two mile range of Auditorium Shores.
Instead, browse this map to find nearby paid parking options. Or, better still, use your favorite ride share app to get dropped off directly in front of the Auditorium Shores entry gate on Riverside Drive.
